In my work with couples and partnered systems, I help clients identify what each person is bringing into the relationship, and how to accommodate for those differences to avoid triggering each other.

I work with couples of all orientations and all kinds (married or not), and I offer premarital counseling for those who want to make sure they are on the same page before tying the knot. I am also experienced with polyamory and with counseling those who are poly or ethically non-monogamous. Alternatively, if you have come to couple’s therapy as a last resort because one or both of you has decided to end the relationship, I also offer discernment therapy to help ease the transition out of partnership and establish closure.
Family therapy can be beneficial for many reasons. Below are some circumstances for which family therapy could be helpful:
